Benedict Kok is a Singaporean mission-driven entrepreneur and experienced business strategist. He is the co-founder of Erben Group (opens in a new tab) , a human-centred venture builder he started with Ernest Chua, and of WhereWeBegin (opens in a new tab) , Erben Group’s first venture: an entrepreneurship platform, established in 2025, that helps aspiring founders take their first step.
His work spans strategy, go-to-market, operations, brand and storytelling. Before co-founding his companies, he was Chief of Staff at Sedifly, an early-stage education company, and Editor-in-Chief of The Writer’s Room, which publishes HYPE Singapore and The UrbanWire. He began his career in media as a Content Producer (Editorial) at Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs, writing, photographing and designing feature stories.
Benedict is studying for a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Western Australia, majoring in Political Science and International Relations with a second major in Enterprise & Innovation. He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, with a minor in Psychology.
